Thank you! ☺️ I was in Venezia a week ago! Unfortunately it was for a very short time & the weather was terrible! Still enchanting & beautiful though! 🩵✨
Lovely writing as always .. so much to relate to time ( I love watches .. ) impermanence filled with hope that whatever happens change even if difficult can always take place ! ⏱️🕰️🍁x
Firstly, impermanence resonates with me as I’m travelling right now (& loving the at my creative mind has found its voice again) but starting to wonder how I go home & translate that into my every day life. A large part of me (around 90% at a guess) would like to come back to an island here & walk, drink coffee & write without worrying about anything else. Yes, quite ridiculous & not the and now choice!!
Secondly, the shutting in of building work is a real thing & the changes in your landscape dramatic indeed. Little wonder that you have time seeking place in an appropriate vintage market & acquired a new loving held & valued piece of timely beauty that will have many stories to share with you over time.
👋🏻 from a fellow night owl and resident in the impermanence (both Venetian building construction and existential)
Oh yes. 🤍✨🫶🏻👋🏻 I know you know.
Such a lovely piece to read Valeria! Could we see a photo of your timepiece please? 🥰
Oooh sure, I’ll do a little note sometime! ☺️

So true. Impermanence is closely related to adaptability. And that’s often a good skill to have / learn. ☺️
Oh Valeria this was such a good read.

I want to live on that island, too, someday! It sounds so ideal!
Pezzo bellissimo, Valeria. Ci si sente a casa nelle tue parole, consapevoli e malinconiche in un modo lieve e vellutato. Grazie
Grazie a te, Daniela, mi fai felice.
Beautiful story. I lived in Venice for two winters and miss it/her terribly.
Winter is such a special time to live her.
